Our acrylic protective screens are designed to protect your staff and customers. We have supplied counter-top sneeze guards to doctor’s surgeries, hospitals, cafes, pubs, restaurants, pharmacies, convenience stores, fire stations, courts of law and schools amongst many others.
Our full-height protective screens have been designed specifically for businesses such as hair salons, opticians and other retail spaces that require larger, free-standing guards. More recently, we have been supplying office desk screens to many office-based businesses as employees return to workspaces.

Why did we start producing protective screens?
Many of our customers are from the retail, events and healthcare sectors who have faced many challenges during the pandemic. Finding solutions to problems is what we love doing and we have designed our protective screens with our customers current needs at the forefront of our minds, ensuring they are affordable, easily assembled, and simple to maintain and clean.
Easy to assemble
We came up with a design that is easy to assemble, as it simply slots together. We were aware that many of our customers are hoping these will not become a permanent fixture and therefore wanted to purchase free-standing screens. Our sneeze guards do not need to be fixed to any surface as their legs are thicker than the screens, thus making them heavy. This means that our screens are extremely strong and sturdy. We also wanted to make our design easy to distribute and able to be put together quickly. That is why our acrylic protective screens are flat packed and no tools are required during assembly.
What sizes do our protective screens come in?
We make a variety of counter-top protective screens which come in two standard heights of 750mm and 1000mm and up to 2000mm wide. Each protective screen comes with a standard opening of 1250mm high and 300mm wide to push documents etc through.
We have also designed larger, full-height and free-standing protective screens. Our larger acrylic protective screens are designed for businesses such as pharmacy, hair salons, opticians, and other retail spaces. These screens have been designed to not only look good but to be practical too.
More recently, we have created protective screens suitable for office desks. Our self-supporting office desk protective screens come in 2 designs – L-Shaped or straight with one central leg. Both designs are a standard height of 750mm with a variety of widths to choose from. However, if you require a bespoke screen, please contact us directly. We can custom make screens to fit any workspace and supply curved screens too.

We currently deliver to the UK. Delivery charges are calculated based on the longest side of the material ordered. Only one delivery charge is applicable per order regardless of how many items are ordered.

Delivery guidelines
We process and dispatch the vast majority of orders within 48 hours of receiving the order, however our guidelines for delivery times are listed below:
- Standard delivery (3-5 working days)
- Express delivery (1-3 working days)
- Collection from Store (3-5 working days)
Due to the nature of the "made to measure" products we supply, we provide delivery prices at a standard rate and reserve the right to cancel an order should it become economically unviable to fulfil the order. In these rare circumstances the customer will be contacted first to discuss alternative options.
When delivering to some delivery locations we can incur increased shipping costs, if this is likely to happen the customer will be contacted to discuss any possible extra delivery charges required.
Once the goods have been dispatched you will receive an email of notification informing you of the shipping method (Courier Company) and any tracking numbers if applicable.
If you know you will not be at home to accept delivery, or simply need to "pop out" please leave our carrier a signed note as to where he can leave your order. Perhaps the shed, garage, porch or neighbour.
Express delivery
If you require faster delivery you may wish to consider choosing our Express Delivery option at the checkout. Express Delivery orders will be prioritised and will be delivered using a recognised nationwide courier.
Same day delivery
If you require something urgently, please contact us and we will make every effort to meet your requirements and deadline. Same day delivery to a London postcode is available if you place an order with us by 11am.
Collection / pickup
Collection is available from our location in Mitcham, London. When placing an order on our website there is an option on the final stage of the checkout for collection/pickup. Once your order is ready for collection you will be notified via email, this email will include our full address and details of our opening hours. Please note that the lead time for collection is 3-5 working days. If you require a quicker turnaround please call to confirm this; please note additional charges may apply.
Orders & Faulty goods
As most orders are custom made to our customers' own specification, we only issue refunds in exceptional circumstances. If a problem does arise we make every effort to correct the problem. Orders are packed with great care in appropriate packaging to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, but accidents do sometimes happen.
Please check your delivery, while in the presence of the delivery person. If you notice damage please refuse receipt and notify us as soon as possible. If you do not notice the damage until after the delivery, please contact us straight away.
Please keep the original packaging in case a return is required. If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us on 0800 949 9248 or by email sales@londonplastics.co.uk as soon as possible. We want you to be happy with your purchase.
Please note that when you place your order with London Plastics you will receive an acknowledgement of it's receipt. A sale of contract isn't formed until an item is dispatched.
